Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services
What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach to understanding and improving behavior. It focuses on how behavior works, how learning happens, and how the environment influences actions. Through positive reinforcement and individualized teaching strategies, ABA helps children build meaningful skills in communication, social interaction, independence, and emotional regulation.
Early intervention using ABA is especially important because a child’s brain is most adaptable during the early years. Starting services early can significantly reduce developmental delays, improve long-term outcomes, and set the foundation for success in school and everyday life. At The Santana Institute for Learning, we use ABA to help children reach their full potential in a supportive, fun, and family-centered way.
What to Expect
At The Santana Institute for Learning, ABA services are personalized to meet your child’s unique needs. We begin with an assessment to understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and goals. From there, we create a customized treatment plan focused on building communication, social, daily living, and school-readiness skills—while reducing behaviors that may get in the way of learning.
Sessions are one-on-one and take place in the comfort of your home, where your child feels most comfortable. Our team works closely with you to provide consistent support, track progress, and adjust strategies as your child grows. We believe in open communication, collaboration with families, and celebrating every win—big or small.
